Maria and Manuel were amazing hosts, speaking excellent English and making us feel like family. The property is a stunning working vineyard with a strong commitment to environmental protection. The evening meal cooked by Maria was a delightful experience, with delicious local foods at a very reasonable price. The house wine is lovely and affordable, definitely worth buying. The location is perfect, in a beautiful and quiet valley, with nearby towns of Chaves and Vidago just a short distance away. The breakfast was brilliant, with plenty of choice and a cheerful greeting from Maria. The overall stay was outstanding, providing everything we needed and more. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil and rural experience.

Our stay at this incredible vineyard was mind-blowing! The wine was super tasty and the peacefulness at night was jaw-dropping. The facilities were of high quality and the hostess was always attentive to our wishes. The nearby town offered affordable restaurants and the house itself was stunning with a reading room and lobby. The hosts, Maria and Manuel, were lovely and even gave us a tour of the vineyard. We enjoyed a delightful meal prepared by Maria and the house wine was both lovely and affordable. The location was remote and charming, with beautiful hikes in the surrounding hills. We were impressed with the spacious and modern room, with a view of the pool and vineyards. The old charm of the house mixed with modern touches was a wow factor. The staff were friendly and professional, and the food at dinner and breakfast was delicious. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the whole house had a rural charm. The swimming pool was a perfect relaxation spot. We were given a tour of the vineyard and enjoyed walking through it. we highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience.

The decoration at Casa Grande Do Seixo was absolutely charming. The traditional Portuguese style with beautiful antique furniture and intricate details made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The general areas of the hotel, such as the inner courtyard and pool area, were well-maintained and perfect for relaxing. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel. The spacious room and the option to park right outside made it convenient for me to navigate and enjoy my stay.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation better for senior people, it would be for the children working there to provide more assistance with carrying luggage. While the hotel was generally senior-friendly, having a little extra help with luggage would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Grande Do Seixo Villa in Vidago for a business trip. Our director chose this hotel for us, and I must say, it turned out to be a wonderful choice.
It was unseasonably hot while we were there, and even though the nights were cool, we could've benefited from having a fan in the room.
